L&P Media Launches the NEW NYS Tourism Web Site – ILOVENY.COM
Troy, NY ( March 15, 2007) L&P Media announced today the launch of a redesigned and streamlined www.iloveny.com website with easy-to-use navigation and improved instant online reservation capabilities. Other notable new features include an "Our Cities & Towns" community promotion area; an "e-zine" travel magazine; a new Winter Microsite; three new Microsites for International visitors; "Getaways" value-added packages; InteliSend™ email communications; and electronic brochures. The new system also leverages the L&P Media InteliAdmin™ Content Management system, enabling non technical staff to manage every aspect of this very comprehensive web site; including themes, colors, templates, pages, images, and much more.
“The I NY® website’s striking new design, engaging content and straightforward navigation tools will draw many visitors to the site,” said Pat Foye, co-chairman of ESDC www.empire.state.ny.us , the New York State agency that administers the program. “It will be much easier for consumers to learn about the many magnificent areas and attractions in our beautiful state, and they’ll have the extra convenience of being able to book lodgings instantly with online reservations.”
“The new web site will enable the department’s personnel and TPA’s (Tourism Promotion Agencies) to better promote and reinvigorate the brand around the world and here in New York. The new web site, in part due to the simplified navigation will ertainly be an economic benefit to the New York Sate and the Travel Industry. The new website also integrates over 14,000 travel accommodations, attractions, events and facilities currently in the I NY® data base. Many of the features and capabilities were identified in research we conducted and subsequently developed from consumer and industry requests”, stated John Daniels, President of L&P Media.
“Travel and tourism play a very important role in the State’s economy, especially the Upstate economy,” said Daniel Gunderson, co-Chairman of ESDC. “This enhanced, easier-to-use website will boost the I NY® considerable brand recognition and help attract new tourism dollars to the State.”

Another new tool, "Our Cities & Towns," promotes New York State's communities through profiles, links to community Internet sites, and access to the I NY® Tourism Database's comprehensive listings. An electronic magazine has been developed to provide information to inquirers that have not already decided on a particular New York State destination. The "e-zine" features dozens of travel ideas around the state, grouped by theme. "Our Cities & Towns" and the "e-zine" are designed to be cooperative partnership efforts. New York State's TPAs and other tourism associations will be invited to continuously contribute content for these areas.
