Web Development Project Manager / Graphic Designer

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • At least 2+ years project management experience in application development, web development or advertising/marketing.
  • Proven ability to write and develop project specification documents.
  • Demonstrated understanding of browser based development, databases, ad management, SEO, marketing, advertising, content management software, technical architectures, process documents, and QA.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills mandatory for communication to clients, internal staff and management team.
  • Strong proven ability in client relations and communications.
  • Experience in managing various production teams and strong client and vendor relations abilities.
  • A working knowledge of project administration, cost tracking and SW tools (MS Project, access, xls).
  • Possess a good creative eye and ability to create strong web and print design.
  • Possess a strong understanding of UI and information architecture
  • MUST have proven knowledge and experience with web page cut up, cascading Style sheets (CSS), javascript, accessibility standards, understand web usability as well as possess a willingness to learn new and innovative design technologies.
  • Must possess strong knowledge & experience in responsive design, Word press CMS, Drupal CMS, HTML5
  • Full strong working knowledge and expertise in Adobe products ( InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
  • Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to assist in managing multiple complex projects simultaneously within deadlines and constraints.
  • Professional mannerism.
  • Experience in QA control and testing measures is a requirement.
  • Experience in project cost tracking
  • Ability to motivate production team and keep multiple projects on time and in budget.
  • Must possess a desire to learn something new every day and to have fun!

Videographer, Video Editor and Multimedia Designer

L&P Media is looking for an experienced Videographer, Video Editor and Multimedia Designer.

The role of the Videographer, Video Editor & Multimedia Designer is very hands-on; you will be intimately involved in all design and production aspects related to the video or website and work closely with the project manager, client and Producer. From providing creative and technical support for video projects, to shooting and lighting, editing and creating graphics all are part of the day and requirements.

Demonstrated knowledge of Final Cut, Motion, Adobe Photo Shop and other Multimedia Software, including video compression tools, along with proficiency with HD cameras and field production, lighting and audio is essential. Must be able to support diverse lighting scenarios from corporate green screen interview to field b roll, incorporate sound into productions (familiar with a Mackie mixer), at times will work with a skeleton crew and be a team player. Cross-training into the Meetings support area expected with requisite demonstrated knowledge of media presentation equipment including set-up, troubleshooting, operation, and strike. Candidate must be able to multitask in a highly visible environment, possess outstanding customer service skills and be available to work a flexible schedule. Incumbent ensures the timely completion of work assignments in accord with established timelines, demonstrates initiative, creativity, resourcefulness and problem solving skills.

Educational Requirements:

B.A. in Video Production/Broadcasting/Editing a plus but is not required. This position is driven more by experiential education.

Experience:

Two + years experience working as a videographer/editor in a high-demand environment, under pressure to produce quickly and efficiently, never losing sight of the creative component when pressed for time. Proficient in Final Cut,  Adobe Photoshop and After Effects are a necessity. Ability to properly manage assets and document. Talented videographer/editor/technician able to remain calm under pressure, work independently and as part of a team, with excellent customer service skills. Understanding the aspects and creative lighting needs for various environments to create the proper mood and subject lighting for interviews or other types of videography.

Must possess:

  • The attitude and desire to deliver outstanding video productions as well as audio/visual support in service to the video and communications, meeting, and special event needs of the client.
  • Excellent customer service skills proven through demonstrated ability to interact well with people, help others, and the willingness to do whatever it takes to assure customer satisfaction.
  • Intermediate to advanced technical knowledge of professional production and a/v equipment including HD Cameras:, Final Cut editing suite, Motion, Adobe After Effects,  video compression, microphones, sound mixers, Tricaster, video switching, and data projectors.
  • A good eye for documentary-style productions; passionate about editing and the art of storytelling.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in motion graphics and video streaming
  • The ability to troubleshoot and efficiently remedy AV-related problems as they arise (particularly under pressure, during a “live” presentation or shoot).
  • Possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong oral communication skills and attention to client deadlines and requirements

Web Programmer

L&P Media is looking for a Web programmer and applications developer.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Excellent client & team communication skills and demonstrated time management abilities
  • At least 2+ years of working experience
  • A very good understanding of: .Net, SQL, MySQL, XML, HTML
  • Proven capability in web page cut up and coding, with use of templates and CSS
  • Knowledge in CMS systems such as WordPress, Drupal or other .Net CMS solutions. Knowledge in MS  Dynamics is a Big Plus!
  • Knowledge and understanding of what is compliant web page design and programming.
  • Formal Education and/or previous experience in Server side programming in the following: PHP and ASPx
  • Desire to learn new languages
  • Skills in designing, modifying, developing, implementing & managing software applications.
  • Knowledge to review technical documentation, system architecture
  • Demonstrated ability to document and perform Q/A and security tests.
  • Ability to take customer business needs and convert them into technical documents and solutions.
  • Proven abilities to design, build, and maintain relational databases, as well as -write code for database access, modifications, and constructs, including stored procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability in time management, tracking, customer communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
